Here are the crime updates for the Lozells and East Handsworth area from 15/08/2025 and 15/09/2025.

Charleville Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 11pm on 14/08/2025 and 2:30pm on 15/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford. Offenders have removed and stolen front bumper from vehicle by unknown means.

Baker Street – Theft from a motor vehicle -Between 7pm and 7:30pm on 15/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Mercedes GLC. Offenders have smashed passenger’s door window with unknown implement. Offenders have been disturbed by passers-by. £50 cash stolen. 

Broughton Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 2am and 9am on 16/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended vehicle. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means. Items stolen bankcard, fuel card, and dash cam. 

Heathfield Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 7am and 5pm on 18/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended vehicle. Offenders removed and stole front / rear number plate by unknown means. 

Westminster Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 1pm on 15/08/2025 and 9pm on 18/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. 

Church Vale – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 12:01am and 12:15am on 23/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Nissan Qashqai. Offender gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. 

Hutton Road – Theft from a motor vehicle - Between 7:30pm on 23/08/2025 and 9:11am on 24/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford Mondeo. Offenders removed and stole front/ rear number plates.

Leyton Road – Interference with a motor vehicle – Between 3pm on 25/08/2025 and 7:30am on 26/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Peugeot. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means. Once inside vehicle offenders tried to remove interior light but were unsuccessful. Nothing stolen.

Stamford Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 6pm and 7pm on 27/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford Transit Van. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. 

Calthorpe Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 8pm on 28/08/2025 and 7am on 29/08/2025, persons unknown approached secure, parked and unattended Toyota Yaris. Offenders removed and stole front / rear number plate. 

Barker Street – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 11pm on 29/08/2025 and 7:30am on 30/08/2025, persons unknown approached secure, parked and unattended Toyota. Offenders have entered vehicle by smashing front passenger window. Once inside offenders have stolen cash.

Chantry Road/Grove Lane – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 3:39am and 4:53am on 31/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Vauxhall Corsa. Offenders removed following items from vehicle and stole them. Bumper, bonnet and headlights. 

Golds Hill Gardens – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 1:15am and 7am on 28/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended BMW 520D. Offenders gained entry to vehicle by unknown means and stole the following items, Works mobile phone, ID badge and cigarettes.

Whateley Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 10:30pm on 29/08/2025 and 7am on 30/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended vehicle. Offenders gained access to vehicle by smashing window. Offenders stole bank card.

Heathfield Road – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 7:20pm on 29/08/2025 and 7:30pm on 30/08/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford. Offenders gained access to vehicle by unknown mean. Clothing, shoes, credit card and vehicle documents stolen.

Douglas Road – Burglary – Between 12am and 8am on 31/08/2025, persons unknown approached rear of property and gained access via an insecure bathroom window. Items stolen dvd player and purse. 

Gerrard Street – Theft from a motor vehicle – Between 8pm on 31/08/2025 and 9:30am on 01/09/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Ford Transit Van. Offenders gained entry by making a hole in the back door with unknown implement. Items stolen power tools to the valve of £2000.

Maxwell Avenue – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 6pm on 09/02/2025 and 8:40am on 03/09/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Nissan Juke Acenta. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. 

Soho Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 12am on 31/08/2025 and 10:45 on 04/09/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Vauxhall car. Offenders gained entry and stole the following items from vehicle. Three fishing rods £360, three fishing reels £150, other fishing equipment £200 and Makita cordless drill including battery £250.

Melrose Grove – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 9:30pm on 04/09/2025 and 10am on 05/09/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Toyota C-HR ICON. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means.

Mostyn Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 1am on 10/09/2025 and 3:15pm on 11/09/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Honda Civic. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means. 

Linwood Road – Theft of a motor vehicle – Between 10am and 12:30pm on 11/09/2025, persons unknown approached a secure, parked and unattended Audi A3. Offenders gained entry and stole vehicle by unknown means.
